'06 Megané locking

Post by myglaren »

Daughter couldn't lock her (new to her) Megané.

The previous day I couldn't unlock it - took half an hour of messing about.
I have it here and it "seems" to be locked but not certain of it.
There is a little key in the card but I have no idea where it might go. If anyone knows I'd be grateful for the info.

Managed to get in it today and the other doors wouldn't unlock, only passenger door.
Climbed into driver's seat with some difficulty and eventually managed to start it, after which it has behaved normally.

What will tomorrow bring, I wonder.

Turned out to be the batteries in both the cards :(
Sometimes it would lock and not open, other times it wouldn't lock.

I feel like an idiot for not changing them to see although they did work on the diagnostic doodad.
It's in for EML/emissions and a new timing belt and water pump. Due back tomorrow.
It is now properly keyless so something else to worry about.
