In the UK that was marketed as the Renault 21 Matt. What engine is it?

Wow, sorry but that back bumper is terrible lol that needs to go! Not sure on the paint job or wheels either but I guess you could sell those for a good bit of cash back toward a respray if you feel the same. Otherwise though it looks pretty clean under the bonnet/hood, hopefully it's rust-free too?
It's nice to see some older cars coming out of the woodwork on here the last few weeks, hope you're planning to stick around and keep us updated on your progress with it.

Various places for older cars, ask when you need some and we can start off by showing/finding sources for you.....you will soon build up a history :)

Starter for 10 Alasdair, boot latch and back bumper :D

eBay and autoshite forum would be my "general" suggestions for parts, and a lot of less specific mechanical/electrical stuff like belts/hoses/thermostats and such is likely to be available on spec in parts places I would think.

The issue will be that the parts aren't quite the same as the euro spec Renault 21... especially body parts.

Have you ever tried to buy parts for *any* French car in the US, let alone a 30 year old one that they made few of? I have. It'd be easier to smelt ore into steel and make them yourself :/ I had problems here in the UK getting parts for a common Renault 4 so you'll not find it easy to get parts for that.

I'm all for keeping old cars and rare cars on the road, don't let me put you off, just be warned parts *will* be hard to find, and it would be wise, if you find 2 or 3 of a certain item (timing belt, waterpump, lamps for example) to buy them all to have spares in stock.
