any ideas, any help? or just maybe someone know roughly price of fixing??

Ok, so you have the RNEG 'MyWay' system. Now unfortunately, if any of the following faults are present, the suggestion is to deal with the fault via the diagnostic kit:
Try doing a BSI reset and follow exactly:
BSI Rest / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure
That may rule out any ECU glitches first of all.
Not much help - but if you go onto the fault with the Lexia, is there some further info or a recommendation / check that you can see?Establish communication with the built-in systems interface (BSI) ; Read the fault codes; Using the diagnostic equipment:Are the following faults present? If present - deal with the fault using the diagnostic equipment
- F023 Fault: absence of communication with the multifunction screen or the telematic unit
- F04C Fault: absence of communication with the telematic unit
- F044 Fault: absence of communication with the digital Hi-Fi amplifier
- F021 Fault - absence of communication with the steering wheel switching module ECU or steering wheel with fixed central controls
Try doing a BSI reset and follow exactly:
BSI Rest / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure
That may rule out any ECU glitches first of all.

It's Fuse F8 (20Amp) in the passenger compartment in case you needed to check the specific one.
Short of checking all the connections and undertaking a BSI reset, there is little you can do with these MyWay units - short of getting them repaired or replaced. I've checked all the documents and there should be a fault tree or diagnostic tree you can follow - but int he main I believe these are jsut checking the obvious like the connections, the supply, electrical power etc. If checking connections ALWAYS disconnect battery first (recommended) and then the main quadlock connector at the back of the MyWay unit first and last when reconnecting.

No - the BSI reset is perfectly safe and recommended by PSA whenever the battery is disconnected and reconnected. it is also sometimes used to ensure the various car ECUs are powered down properly and then restarted afterwards - much like a PC is booted up.johnnybravo wrote: ↑29 Sep 2018, 12:42 one question more, GiveMeABreak is it possible to make my situation worse if something goes wrong with all these procedures i.e will lock my car or something?
Just follow the instructions.

Hmmm, strange thing but I have 10 amp instead of 20amp, is it important or no?

If it's not blown then not the cause of your problem although you should put the correct rating in now.

If the fuse (even the wrong rating) is working, then it won't be that.johnnybravo wrote: ↑01 Oct 2018, 11:56 Hmmm, strange thing but I have 10 amp instead of 20amp, is it important or no?
We know the display isn't working - but can you actually play any music, does the radio work, or the telephone? I'm trying to ascertain if the Head Unit is faulty or the screen itself - as that also has an ECU. So are there lights on the Head Unit and is there any functionality in the Head Unit?
