Is Peugeot 301 or 308 Gearbox fits Peugeot 307 ?

In most cases the gearbox will be the same if exactly the same type of engine is fitted, but there were several different types of engine and gearbox fitted to the 307.
Be careful that some transmissions look similar externally but may have a different clutch arrangement or different gear ratios, which would not be compatible.
If you post your VIN number, someone here may be able to look up which version is fitted to your car.
