Hi guys!
the Bottom/Under Engine Cover of my Citroen C5 is broken, I'd like to change it with a non-plastic one, with something more solid can you suggest/link any suitable product?
Thanks!

Not recommended - one of the reasons why they are made of a plastic type material is that they are strong enough to deflect any debris, but not so rigid that they won't deform in an accident but also that if they are impacted by anything or the bolts rust, a solid casing can cause untold damage to sensitive pipes and components of the engine bay if it was to break up.

For a diesel, they can also be sound absorbing, not least in urban/city use.
Beware some of the aftermarket offerings, which have been reported as very poor quality.

Yes - good point Chris, I forgot about the sound deadening properties too.

Don't forget it also helps protect water and other crap from getting into your engine bay and rotting your pipework or rusting other parts!
