C1 Front Bumper Plastics
daughter had a close encounter with a little deer in her C1 the other day... No damage except the the LH dummy foglight/DRL panel popped out and disappeared
Grateful if someone with access to service.citroen (or whatever it may be called now) could look up the part number and cost for me please?
I attach a couple of piccies of the missing panel and the matching RH one...
C1 is a very late 2014 model...
Thanks

Hi Jim
Looks like there are 2 options - from the diagram it appears the only difference is a small slot in the outer edge, which it doesn't look like yours has, which makes it part no 7? If you can post the VIN (which will cunningly hide itself!) then I can confirm which one.
Costs from Citroen:
Part Number Description Quantity Price excl. VAT Price incl. VAT Total incl. VAT Selection
1607983080 BUMPER MOULDING 1 30.08 GBP 36.10 GBP 36.10 GBP (Item 7)
1607983180 BUMPER MOULDING 1 22.02 GBP 26.42 GBP 26.42 GBP (Item 5)

Re: C1 Front Bumper Plastics
That slot would be for the DRL (where fitted)?

Re: C1 Front Bumper Plastics
Thanks all, that's utterly awesome
The car is a real poverty-spec C1 and has no DRLs although Robyn did notice all the wiring is in place for them!!! Price is a bit steep for a bit of flimsy plastic but at least the bumper escaped unscathed
I believe it is now an ex-deer I'm afraid to say Simon... It happened very late at night on Robyn's way to work and the victim was well past her nursing skills...
I shall now order one from my local stealer... Guess who's paying... Yep, in one!

Re: C1 Front Bumper Plastics
Hi, and welcome back, Jim. Might it not be worth calling into a scrap yard to see if they have suitable plastics? You never know, you might even be able to get the DRLs as well, and then Robyn would have Christmas lights on the front!

Hi James I did think of that but you know, we are very short of scrapyards around here and to be honest I just don't have the time or means to travel to one...
I must admit some DRLs would be nice though!

Hi Mike
Very true!!!
For me the forum is overwhelmingly huge and complex at the moment and having massive trouble making head or tail of how it works...
I may try to get back into it but can't promise

I simply click on the "New posts" link. It'll show what's new and posts with new replies.
I ignore everything else unless I specifically need to know something , which with a Czech car and a Japanese bike is a very rare thing..
You're missed around these parts. Forum members are talking far too much about cars.

That's the same as I do now. I used to keep three or four windows open for the various areas I was interested in but it became too cumbersome.
Occasionally I will click "Unread posts" to see if I've missed something but it's rare that it shows anything up of interest to me.
Indeed. Echo from me.

OK, I can soon change that I can bore you all with much ephemeral non-car banter... Just you wait and see!
Consider me more or less back... Perhaps not quite so prolific but back!
