It looks to me like a gearbox breather (vent).

It allows a small flow of air into and out of the transmission case so that the case is not pressurised when it gets hot. The vent hole is small (and may be convoluted) so that minimal oil vapour is lost with the air. The flow through the vent is normally very small.

On some transmissions, the plastic vent cap is removed and the hole used for refilling the transmission fluid.

I removed your last post as it was a duplicate of the one above.

I appreciate you may not have had any responses, but to be honest, I did watch it several times and could not really hear anything because of the background noise. The only other noise I can make out is the Auto box.

There was nothing that stood out to me unfortunately, so maybe others have concluded the same.

Thank you Marc for removing my duplicate post.

I'll leave it as it is and because French cars are very sensitive to faults as soon as something appears it'll give the fault code anyway.

Thanks again for listening.

I've tried to watch it several times but keep getting "An error occurred. Please try again later".

Dear all

Please help me again, what does the following (attached picture) stand for? What should I do, and where can I find it? It is a 2010 C5 THP 155HP.

Thank you in advance

The air temperature sensor is (I believe) mounted on the hard plastic pipe that runs across the top of the engine from the intercooler to the throttle body.
Maybe the connector is loose?
