All four of our cars are using batteries bought online from https://advancedbatterysupplies.co.uk/
I find their prices are reasonable. They deliver next day and so far, I've found then very reliable.

The company I bought this battery from I had used 3 times in the past for other cars and a motorcycle battery - I guess you see the 'real' side of a company when things go wrong and how fast they sort out the problem, or not in this case [-X

Well end of the story, battery will not be replaced under warranty as the voltage is less than 10.6V  so the battery doesn't hold it's charge so it must be faulty, to which the reply was you should not use a flat battery  well surely in my citroen the 'eco' mode cuts in to stop the battery going flat... anyway, now more money down the pan on a new battery will NOT be bought online.

Oh yes, word of advice, don't use battery megastore as they are bleeding daylight robbers (funny I should have looked at the reviews on trustpilot before buying from them)

Have you tried a chargeback. You could try contacting your bank telling them that you bought a faulty item online and the retailer will not refund you. There might be a chance that the bank with do a chargeback and give you a refund if you used a bank card to pay for the battery.

Its worth a try and you won't be any worse off than you are now.

Halfords used to have a policy of price matching online prices. I bought a K&N filter for my C5 some years ago for the same price as the cheapest online. I just had to show the proof of the price and they matched it. I got the filter quicker as well.

Maybe they still offer this?

Well, it could be very likely. It would cost absolutely nothing to ask.

And if they try to charge more then just walk away.

Just don't do what I did - & realise you've been charged the full price after you've made the purchase.
