Re: Xantia to pass on

Post by quip »

Hi

I have a Mk2 Xantia 1.9 TD Sx to pass on

Newish radiator
Usual rust around the wheel arches.

I dinged the bumper last week so needs a new rear bumper.
The airbag lights are coming on - it could be the ABS too as both lights are connected...
192000 miles

Newish cam belt
Had the engine rebuilt and new cylinder head (don't ask)
Squeeky Alt belt
Disconnected air con pump
New second hand blower (from a range rover)

Needs bearings doing
Newish pads and calipers
Ok tyres

I love this car - its done 100 k with few problems. I regularly fully load her and drive across the Penines.
She still does 100 on private roads.
But have to be practical and get another citroen work horse.
Would suit someone that wants to spend a few weekends making her new again - body work and interior stuff mostly.

Very reliable engine
Exhaust seems ok

MOT till October Taxed till August
Want to give it to someone who will keep her going. Would take a bit of cash for the tax and MOT but we can talk if your the right person to take her. Would suit me to hand over when I have a new car - might be a couple of months but feel free to contact me to arrange. Be good to see examples of cars you have kept on.

please email me ben.eyes(atnotspam)gmail.com to arrange.

I don't think that you have mentioned your location.

The image link that you have given does not work. You could upload images here, at the bottom of the post editor form is an attachments tab.
