Hi, new to your forum- but I need help!

I need to reinstall a newer version of Diagbox ( till the old laptop crashed I had 6.xx). My problem is trying to find out my interface version to establish which Diagbox version I can run.
The old installation DVD appears to list a PSA Version checker- but it just will not play!

Has anyone got a copy of the checker- or a link to it. Thanks in advance.

Anyone know why I see parameters on diagbox for my electrovalve as invalid value?

You'll need to be a bit more specific than that. It depends on the parameters or test you are running. This could be perfectly normal if you are testing a system where the car is not able to return any data because it is stationary for example, like the ABS or ESP systems that rely on data when the vehicle is moving.

I was stationary during the test. What I need is someone that can interpret the data.
Basically I have hesitation, egr codes p1459 and p0490 have had new egr fitted and reprogrammed by Citroën.

Yes, that serial no. is blacklisted. You should be able to use it with Diagbox version 5.29 and Lexia and PP2000 though, but you may also need to downgrade your firmware version to 4.2.4 (APPLI 4.2.4DB.COM)

I was using this interface with Diagbox 7.02 till my old laptop went bang recently. I had to go through Diagbox to talk to my C4 Pic.- but Lexia would do virtually nothing by itself.

It is entirely dependent upon the model, year and electronic architecture of each vehicle, including the ECUs as to how much (or little) success you will have. You may find some dialogue with certain components and nothing with others.

I hope I am not breaking any rules here- but could you gurus take a view on this item. To my untrained eye it seems to tick all the boxes.

I personally would not touch it - they can't even spell Citroen correctly, and in one sentence they say 'works good with C5 and 307' and in another sentence say that is doesn't!

I can only recommend easydiagnostics as we know theses are the full chip kits and there is UK support available.

They may not the cheapest, but at least you know you will be getting the latest interface with all the correct hardware, with UK support.

I've bought from easydiagnostics before- and agree they provide a good service. I just got a bit miffed when I could no longer access the members area because they changed their mind and made membership time limited- unless you paid more money.

And I've just noticed the feedback for the seller I linked- not good!!!!

Regarding Easy.. you should have all the software supplied at purchase to be honest - just make a backup. There really wasn't much else there that isn't available elsewhere to be honest.
