Scotland's amazing, haven't been for a long time but I'm fond of the place.

Fancy joining me then James ;)

I do but it's very dependant on Kelvin so I may not be able to travel up with you, I suspect I'll have to drop him in Wales.
A years notice is probably enough to actually make it happen.
Lets discuss it next weekend, I have a feeling we're going to bump into each other

Excellent! Yes! That's good news James...

Will be looking forward to that :-D

Fancy joining me for a bit of parkrun tourism on Saturday morning? I'll either be running at Southwick (Trowbridge) or Shepton Mallet...

Certainly do Jim, I may even run it.
I'm a bit confused over dates this morning.
I thought Saturday in 7 days was Somerset.
Will clarify later on, very fuzzy head at the moment and just about to leave for HMS Victory.

I know all about fuzzy head... It's why I keep copious lists and diaries now of what I'm supposed to be doing and when... I'd be lost without them...

Yes, I'm in Somerset this coming weekend and down your way on the 15th for the Wiggle New Forest 100 Cycle Sportive James..

I'm assuming you and I will end up at the same place next Saturday due to you collecting a headlining. Would I be correct?

Thats correct Jim.
Just looked up the places you mentioned and they are in Somerset, makes sense now.
Yes, I'll come and spectate, as I have Kelvs I won't run but he can have a good walk and we'll both cheer you on.

Excellent, meet me in the Southwick Country Park car park before 08:30 :)

Details here:

http://www.parkrun.org.uk/southwickcountrypark/

You and Kelv can walk it... All dogs must keep their owners on a short leash.

I can't walk it - I have to run it...

Register with parkrun and get your barcode and then you'll get a time and a run credit ;)

I'll be in the Pug..

That's a date Jim.
I'll drive down in the boxer on Friday night and camp in the back.
I'm programmed to wake up at 07.00 on a Saturday and don't fancy starting earlier as I'll want to sleep on the way home.
Walking it is probably ideal for us, Kelvs doesn't like running on a lead at all and will need to inspect every interesting scent on the route.

Excellent! And speaking of dates James, I'm looking to spend another few days down at the caravan sometime in September :D

I have that urge again... You know how much I love it down there... Just got to arrange it...

This is rapidly approaching now. Im disappointed its just Chris and myself, but hey ho we shall still enjoy. Lilpug is running great and looking great for its outing. I would think Chris is in packing mode getting ready for the long drive north. At least he has super comfort in an xm to do it in!

Just after midnight, time to sleep. The plan is awake at 8, leave by 9 and hopefully be at Fort William to meet Chris about 12. Then let the fun begin.
