If you can, take a trip over to the Isle of Wight. It is beautiful and (it is said), barring the Highlands and the Lake District, you can find almost every part of the UK there. If you don't mind travelling at night, the Dream Ticket is a cheap way to cross the Solent.

We're on our way at the moment. Currently in Chard. We've been on the Jurassic Coast, on the Isle of Wight through the New Forrest and we'll make our way up to the Wye valley. We'll have to skip Cornwall as we will not have enough time. And the coast area is a bit too crowdy for our liking. Really like driving here, it's a nice challenge with these narrow roads....

Just down the road from me :)

Wells is a fantastic little city (great Abby) if you have time and a good stop on the way to Stonehenge

I can see why an Activa would be good fun in the UK! We'll try to visit Stonehenge on our way back. I'll mention Wells to the better half....

Wells turned out to be on the list already and quite rightly so! Wonderfull! Very much enjoyed that. We also had a quick visit to Glastonbury where we accidentilly met a Dutch lady in the carpark of the supermarket who kindly offered to show us around! Curious little town, we climbed the hill to visit Tor which in the full sun and with a bad fever is not much fun. But the boys wanted to go up so what can you do. The views are spectaculair though and much recommened. We are currently in Monmouth and we will stay in the Wye Valley, Dean forrest area for a few days before making our way back to the ferry in Dover.

I guess that was before it turned into a village for all kinds of hippie things....

Very funny to see and very different from most of the rest of the UK

The weather will only improve when the kids go back to school ;)

As is usually the case!

It has, perfect today! Been in Puzzlewood today. We have a nice little campsite in Doward. We're now in Monmouth for dinner and we'll go to Stonehenge tomorrow. Then onwards to Dover and back to the mainland on Friday....
