I like a nice image of a filling station. This no doubt has gone now. Its an Aral Station from Bochum Germany.

Saw it first on a series of interesting "Vintage Friday" Articles on the site Petrolicious.

We spent hours going round in circles around Bochum, trying to get to the ferry in Kiel. Nearly missed it. Never want to see Bochum ever again.

Notice anything odd?

The original order got mixed up and the sign-writer assumed the van was for Newport, Gwent, Wales

In keeping with the Welsh bi-lingual requirements, it says 'Royal Mail' on the opposite side...

I have put a link to your post Jim on "What do you know about Wales?"

It needs the odd bump seeing as the ulterior motive for the thread has now been satisfied with the Claiming of all three of Wales' AA Boxes :-D

Nice time of year to get out and about!

The views we got up in the Scottish Borders on Saturday would have looked very different with a bit of Autumn Sun. :-D

Yes, it puts a whole new slant on things :)

We have been so lucky with the weather this week - it's been lovely enough to allow us to enjoy our cafe-stops al-fresco 8-)

For late October that is absolutely incredible... If this is climate change then bring it on

Most days throw up something to photograph just by chance.

Mini's have cropped up this week on the classic car threads, and here's a nice orange one, all ready for the Cheviot Stages Rally tomorrow. Yes and my view of POTD...it matters little whether the pics are in focus or not!
