The forward hinging bonnet certainly seems SAAB-ish.

Not this time. If the engine shot doesn't produce the goods just go through all the Bond films and take a guess at which title would be appropriate to name the metallic bluey body colour. It ain't Goldfinger or Dr No!

Yes you dont have to know anything about cars to get this whatsthisthen?

Process of elimination and you've already ruled out skyfall, living daylights, goldfinger, Dr no and not surprisingly you only live twice!

Get the film, put in a google query "[film title] car colour" and click the image tab and scroll down.

On your marks, get set, ...go.....

Good effort Steve, but it isnt a Renault 11 or half of a Renault 11. The film name is the key, the car was never in a Bond Film afaik.

Check the number of Cylinders and have another guess Chris! Oops I thought you had put 2000 in!

Adjust your bore and stroke as necessary Chris and have another guess!

Lets look at the evidence

1.1 Dr. No (1962)
1.2 From Russia with Love (1963)
1.3 Goldfinger (1964)
1.4 Thunderball (1965)
1.5 Casino Royale (1967)
1.6 You Only Live Twice (1967)
1.7 On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)
1.8 Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
1.9 Live and Let Die (1973)
1.10 The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)
1.11 The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
1.12 Moonraker (1979)
1.13 For Your Eyes Only (1981)
1.14 Octopussy (1983)
1.15 Never Say Never Again (1983)
1.16 A View to a Kill (1985)
1.17 The Living Daylights (1987)
1.18 Licence to Kill (1989)
1.19 GoldenEye (1995)
1.20 Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)
1.21 The World Is Not Enough (1999)
1.22 Die Another Day (2002)
1.23 Casino Royale (2006)
1.24 Quantum of Solace (2008)
1.25 Skyfall (2012)
Looking at that list its obvious! and you would never call a metallic blue "Goldeneye"
