icarsoft i970? will it do most of the things lexia or planet does?

icarsoft i970? will it do most of the things lexia or planet does?

they are around £100 and seem to do a lot but can they do as much as peugeot planet or lexia? they seem to be plug and play. where would be the best place to buy a reliable setup of lexia/pp?

These aftermarket ones probably won't be able to do as much as the Lexia - more importantly the software (Diagbox, that contains PP2000, Lexia and of course Diagbox itself) have embedded procedures for undertaking some functions that won't be available on other systems.

I and many other members have bought our kits from Easydiagnostics. There is a discount code here for Forum members:

These are the only suppliers I personally can recommend, as these kits contain the latest hardware and and are backed up with support. Buying a clone from elsewhere can be risky, as you do not know if they are the full chip revision 'C' units. In many cases they are missing all the components and will therefore not work with some of the cars.
