Re: Heat blowers
Hi, and to the forum. In order for us to be able to help you with accurate information could you please post your VIN here. It will automatically be obscured by the forum software, but Moderators will be able to read it, and then look up your vehicle on the Citroen systems, so they can see exactly what she had when she rolled out of the factory. They will then be able to give you good advise and information based on that.

Re: Heat blowers
Ok, so you have a C4 Picasso Family Saloon 2.0 HDi 163 PEF (DW10CTED4) Manual gearbox 6.
This model has he single Air Conditioning System. I suspect your blower control module may be on the way out. This one I believe is attached directly to the blower motor, although is available as a separate part.
Your blower control module is item 3 below - you don't have item 11 on your model.
What tests have you done though?
If you direct all air distribution towards the middle (fascia front and side vents) and start off at the lowest blower setting and then slowly increase a step at a time what happens from lowest to full speed? Are you getting minimal speed or max and nothing in between?

Re: Heat blowers
Ok, that's not a really good test, when driving because you are getting the 'ram' effect of air being driven into the vehicle whilst it is in motion.
So if you are not getting anything at all when stationary, then it is likely to be your control module.
The part number is 6441CE. £223.15 inc. VAT from Citroen.
You can get a decent quality one from VEMO (German Made):
https://www.euspares.co.uk/parts/vemo/12250339 for £116 inc. VAT
It's the item in blue shown here: There are cheaper ones from £30+ but there have been many complaints about the real cheap ones simply not working or dead on arrival. - up to you, but the unit is accessed from the driver's side footwell - above the top trim.
I can provide some guide for getting to it if you are going to attempt it your self.

Re: Heat blowers
No you don't have Adblue - that wasn't available on PSA vehicles until 2013.
You do have a Diesel particulate filter though which requires an additive, which is not the same as Adblue.
Adblue is used in vehicles with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology. SCR is used upstream of the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) to eliminate 90% the NOx emitted. So the SCR gets rid of about 90% of the NOx by converting the NOx into water and hydrogen, and the DPF eliminates 99.9% of the particulate matter.
A video explaining the process if your interested, but you only have the DPF in your vehicle. You should get a warning when the additive level needs topping up. This will require a competent garage to do by filling the additive reservoir via a tube and resetting the additive counter using a suitable diagnostic tool, if you don't have one yourself. You need to ensure you use the correct additive level too as some of these cannot be mixed.
