Personally I always go to http://www.wembleytyres.co.uk/ stunning service, so quick its like a F1 tyres change and as for price well I've just put four Dunlop fast response tyres on my HDi estate for less than etyres ask for two of them, :D :D :D

I've never been able to beat mytyres prices.
I use Marangoni on my Xantia and I can strongly recommend them. I have used Bridgestone , Pirelli and others prior to this but the Marangoni's are far superior and cheaper !! Don't think they are cheapo tyres , they are anything but and made in Italy.

A friend of mine is now handling distribution of the Marangoni high performance range , have a look here , http://www.centurymotorsport.com/marangoni-tyres/
Let me know what you think.

The prices are good , the only thing they cannot do is fitting. I use F1 tyre centres , they fit for £10 per wheel and they do it well. Dare say there will be other companies in local area's.
Now using '00 Xantia LX HDI, pov spec :(
My past Citroens :-
'00 Xantia SX HDI, now dead due to accident :(
'99 Xantia HDI 110 Exclusive, RIP :(
'97 Xantia TD SX
'96 Xantia TD LX
'96 ZX TD
'89 BX TD
'88 AX GT
'79 CX2400 Pallas (scrapped :( )
& a couple of Peugeots !

I have been using North eastern tyres and exhausts lately. The service is usually shocking and you need to be prepared to spend half a day there to have two tyres fitted!

However they usually always offer good prices and usually better than online prices, but the main plus point for me is that they have just about every tyre and every size you could ever want. So i just turn up, haggle and get them fitted, no need to order them in etc.

I stopped using local tyre fitters as they tend to just jack the car up anywhere and damage the sills or the underside. At lest NETE dont damage cars and they dont damage wheels, another reason i use them. They also have 4 wheel laser alignment checks for free too.

They do stock a large number of exhausts, they always seem to have a stock of Bosal Xm exhausts too - handy!

I usually try to stick to the main brands if i can, Pirelli, Conti, Michelin etc, though i really dont like Michelins new energy savers, the older E3As were far superior, unfortunately they are not available now. I find Vredestein tyres excellent, the sportrac3s take some beating.

Chris.
