It pains me to see cars dumped and vandalised, but I just thought I'd share this one with you:
There's an M reg green Xantia 2.0 with rear spoiler been left at the Nottingham Goosefair Park & Ride for about 3 weeks now.
Every panel is kicked & dented, the roof is wrecked where the aerial has been bent forwards, both mirrors broken & dangling. BUT...

This is`nt another rant about speed camera`s,as its all been said before.
But what are these new camera`s that seem to be poping up everywhere?About 3/4 ft taller than the Gatso`s,with a much smaller yellow box on the top.Are they speed camera`s?Around my area they seem to be on bus lanes,traffic lights,high streets,100 yds in front of existing...

Hi thought i would ask - once more - the wise advice of the forum users (i wish i could return more for the all the good help i get ).
What could i expect, in terms of the lose of control and corrections needed on a hydraulic (C5) and on a normally sprung car (406) at around 120~130kms/h (70~75mph)?

I recently purchased a Peugeot 807 2.0 HDi with a manual gearbox.
The official fuel consumption figures are something like 30mpg urban, 40 mpg combined and 47mpg extra-urban.
So far, after over 1000 miles we are struggling to achieve 30mpg overall (last tankfull averaged a little over 26 mpg). This includes some long trips and some local driving....

The FCS is now only next weekend! So show of hands (or type!!) whose going, and in what club or are you spectating? Would be cool to see some of these motors we all have talked about.

Remember this subject that was put on the forum a few weeks ago. Around fifteen guys replied, and everybody used lubrication of one form or another. I put the same question on another of my forums - one which is for caravanners. About half of the thirty or so who replied did use grease, but the rest got really up-tight about NOT using anything....

Thought id improve on the BX rear blinds by motorixing them. A truly great event, and a shame that me and the BX could not stay for longer. Heres some pictures of some 2cv boats. They used the standard 602cc lunp tilted 90 degrees, with dry sumping, extra oilcooler, turbos and intercoolers!

How about this for an inventive different custom design, incorporating spanners.

Used my Dad`s 406 est HDI 110 this weekend to tow our caravan for a breakaway as my Xantia is still off the road.Mine is a great tow car,allthough it could do with a bit more than its 115bhp.
But the 406,WOW!
Much faster than the Xantia,so much power.Wouldn`t know the `van was on the back most off the time .Missed the suspension of the Xantia...

Once you stop laughing, does anyone have any ideas or opinions on the possibility of putting a turbo on a 1.5 tud engine?

Came down to Dover for the weekend and was driving from Folkestone to Dover on the A20 at about 6 this evening doing 70. (i was actually doing 70!!)
T5 Cop car goes past pulls in in front and drops to about 65 then keeps speeding up, then slowing down, speeding up, slowing down a couple of times. So i overtake the cop car at about 68 and carry on....

Well now that Peugeot have bought out a car with motorised sliding doors, the Peugeot 1007. Does this mean we are less likely to get dings/dents/scratches in car parks, or will people just park even closer causing further problems
