For this later a model you will need V9.** if remaining with Diagbox.

Usually the software is provided with the kits when bought, but if you need a later version, you can obtain it from various outlets. Have a word with easydiagnostics, as they may provide the software only in various options.

Contacted Jim at easydiagnostics.co.uk very very helpful, checked my laptop remotely for me but unfortunately its running Windows 11 so no good.

But he suggested i use this instead, and said it would be fine for what i require and is alot cheaper option saving loads of money.

My question is what are the main differences between them please.

Here is a link to it

Can't answer that as I've not used it - but it looks like it has software updates for 2 years then you'll have to pay to update it again I suspect.

You'll need to check out some reviews - here's one to start with:

Diagbox 9 can be downloaded as a virtual machine, which is by far the best and easiest way to use it.

That means it can be used on any version of windows, Linux, or MacOS, as long as the CPU has virtualisation.

As long as the laptop is not too old, it will work.

IIRC Diagbox 9 has locked down a lot of it's options compared to V7, with some only available online.

Also IIRC, you would need a Rev C version of the Lexia to run it.

You can't telecode (Configure ECUs) offline on V9.**

There is the new interface from Easydiagnostics on it's way, if you can wait, but I will say that the Topdon Artidiag800BT has done everything I've asked of it, with the exception of removing the Eolys tank, presumably because it's not bidirectional.

I was previously under the impression that only the Lexia / Actia and Diagbox could succesfully work on PSA cars.

The garage that did my Adblue tank were a bit put out when I questioned if their non PSA scan tools were able to do the work.

That opened my eyes to see that there are now many scan tools that will work, though to what degree is something I aim to find out.

The Thinkcar Thinkdiag gets great reviews, but for £80 is a single car / yearly subscription, unless you go for the pro or elite, which are ALL cars, 15 resets and 2 or 3 years for £99 and £129 respectively.

The Topdon Topscan is cheaper<£50, also gets great reviews. It is also single year subscription, but includes all cars and 8 resets.

XTool A30M looks to be the most capable on paper, is about £130, but is all cars, all systems, 21 resets and lifetime free updates.

Topdons customer support has also been very good, so you could ask them if it's fully functional on the Rifter.

Thinkcar have also been swift to answer any questions I have, but Xtool are sometimes a bit less forthcoming.

Foxwell also come recommended, though I have no personal experience with them.

I'm completely new to the AdBlue topic, a little confused about my car model and haven't found much information about the Berlingo K9 so far.
If I understand correctly, Diagbox version 7 is not suitable for vehicles built 2018 and afterwards, but my Berlingo K9 needs some repairs and initializations now and soon.

Is it possible to do the following work with Diagbox 9?
1. Reset ADBlue error (P20EE in my case) or general diagnosis (read & delete errors)?
2. Re-initialization of the NOX sensor after a replacement or general parameter calibration?
3. Open the parking brake to replace the brake disc/pads?

And finally, if the points above apply, does anyone have a recommendation for a full-chip diagnostic adapter.

Thanks in advance!
