Wanted C5 petrol cheaper the better.

Post by alanlondon »

My C5 died and needs replacing.

I want an older C5 petrol which I be will using as a workhorse picking up and delivering generally dirty and horrible used car parts. Not too bothered about body condition, a few bumps and scratches are Ok, but don't like rust! Mechanically sound and serviced with timing belts changed etc.

Anyone with one lying around doing nothing?

Very few of these around as petrol was not the most popular and parts issues with the age (especially the fuel pumps) were an issue on some variants.

2005 one here:

Be a shame to spoil that using it as a parts van Marc.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

Indeed, but I don't think they'll be many of the MK I petrols about - only about 3 including the above on Autotrader MK I and MK II.

£850 for this one:

It could be a contender! It would all depend if I think the same in that it is too good.

This may well fit the bill using parts off my scrapper.

Now just need time to go see a couple.

Does it need to be petrol? I've got a 2.2 diesel estate available, 2006.
Cheers,

Petrol for preference, but being in Nottingham may already be a deal breaker...
