Site maintenance this week 9/2/2023

Post by xantia_v6 »

I need to take the site offline a few times to prepare for moving to a new server.

Expect the site to be locked, or completely down from midnight to 5am (GMT) any night for the next week.

I will update this when the work is complete.

The first phase of the work is complete,
I can do the next phase without disrupting service, but there will be some more disruption in a week or two when I am ready to switch over to the new configuration.

Didn't notice a thing. Which is good, right?
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Inside every old person is a young person wondering what the hell happened.

I take pride in that...

The general aim is to get the site software updated and moved to a new server, but there is quite a lot of work and testing to do in the background (for "reasons").
