No I haven't touched it Jim. It was done by the house owner who considers herself a very clever girl to be able to get it all working without paying a plumber!! Hmmmm! Needless to say I have no desire to upset her applecart as it would only lead to more grief for me whenever anything else needs sorting!! :-D

Not car, but.. we got a 3D printer at Christmas, but so far just printed random tat downloaded from the net. However, have now managed to make something useful!

Our dishwasher is 22 years old, and the lower spray bar has worn such that it catches on the top of the filter housing in the bottom, managed to print a spacer to restore quiet operation!

It is a drone made using a battery powered leaf blower, as in this very annoying video, but far better done.

Mick and I well and truly broke the back of my attic boarding and insulating project yesterday :D

In the middle of the attic was a large and long redundant water tank. Mick and the DeWalt jigsaw made short work of cutting it up into small enough sections that would fit through the trapdoor :D

Now almost fully boarded..

I'll be making up some raised boxing to hide/protect the exposed water pipes.

The boiler area...

And another bit completed..

There's still plenty to do but it's all straightforward with all the difficult stuff done.

Huge thanks Mick, hugely appreciated :D

DeWalt power tools truly do rock!

My loft is just insulated, no boards and I don't have a loft ladder installed, keep thinking I should do it but it gets put off.
One of my neighbours has his all boarded out and a large model train layout up there.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

I keep hoping that the attic elves will make my attic look like that.
All they do is chuck stuff around so I can't find anything.
