I'm feeling variable resistance to this subject. My capacity for this is being tested to the limit.

It is clear that the punnery has induced a certain reluctance in your potential to post!

AA that's not fair, I might be a live wire but I'm down to earth, I can be neutral at times.

In the days before the Electric Vehicle was given its own little space and a few threads on the FCF, the esteemed Picture(s) of the Day thread mopped up the odd picture. I remember this one well, and have only just found it again. VW's half-hearted effort and one of its triplets under VW, SEAT and Skoda badges but the same car.

Memorable contribution from Alasdair, 2016 vintage.

I like the look of that project a lot, loved the steering wheel although hopefully they will bring the switches into the colour scheme on the production models!! here's hoping it comes to fruition and we see our roads speckled with 'Morris' again!! :-D

Very interesting Video....Very interesting Van hope it does well if they get round to manufacturing it and selling it in decent enough numbers to make a profit and thrive. They could well follow the path of Arrival, come up with some great innovations and a decent prototype product but not be able to find their way to keep investors with them through the cash burning pre significant revenues stage.

This was a press release back in 2019...slow progress

Very nice find there James. Website still a bit scanty on detail, and as yet a very embryonic enterprise.

Dr. Qu Li, the CEO and founder of Morris Commercial, says: “I am so pleased to reach this stage after over two years of intense development. It’s been a fantastic journey and I am extremely proud of what the whole Morris Commercial team and its incredible suppliers have achieved. The working engineering prototype has undergone extensive road testing and the end of 2019 is an amazing conclusion to the first phase of the project. We still have a little way to go to bring the project to full production, but we have the team and the product to make this an enormous success. As a business we are committed to environmental sustainability and we are trailblazing a new approach to the production of appealing, fully electric commercial vehicles. We are very excited to unveil the JE to the public this autumn".

Yes I know of it but not really because of the Marquess of Hertford's connection. It always bemuses me how so many of our Lords and Ladies and other gentry have their homes miles from the seat of their titles!! Bizarre, this being an example as Ragley Hall is up in Warwickshire not far from Stratford-on-Avon I believe!! :? :-D

I followed your link and read all about it Gibbo. One aspect struck be as a bit weird:

The accommodation is within 4 km of Parish Church of St Michael and about 25 minutes' walk from Droitwich Spa Lido Public Swimming Pool. Norbury Theatre & Cinema is about 20 minutes' walk from the hotel, while Birmingham airport is 50 km from it. Shopping enthusiasts will enjoy being approximately 25 minutes' walk from St Andrews Square Shopping Mall. Chateau Impney Hotel is also within a minute's drive of Chateau Impney bus stop.

Note to go shopping, swimming or cinema visiting you are expected to walk but if you're going to catch a bus you should drive????? :!: :!: #-o :-D

It's a bit remote Mick, I must have driven past it hundreds of time going between Brum and Hereford but I've never been inside the grounds.
It has interesting origins.
