The series MM minor was good apart from the side valve engine, its performance wasn't up to that of the series E that preceded it.

205 GTi is nice but shame it's been buggered about with  That makes it worth about £800 rather than eight grand in my book...

Yes you can still pick up the majority of thes for under £10K, but always on topic for me is finding out a bit about the cars.

Bit of info on The Australian 1100’s, mentioned by Alec as doing one of those long distance stunts, although that was more about development by the manufacturer, than an excuse to do an online blog and fill YouTube with video footage :-D

I know we have a few Spitfire fans so here is an opportunity to quench those desires with a twist. You get the 6 cylinder Vitesse engine in the Spitfire chassis with a significantly different body!!

That's a gorgeous looking example and it appears it might go for a good price... Wonder what the reserve is? 5K?

I don't think they have set one or it's already beaten. Usually it specifies 'Reserve not met' if that is the case. :)

Having owned pretty well the whole BX range through their lifetime I wouldn't want to go back to them, think of all the time crawling around chasing green blood leaks and that damned octopus tubing and later all the hidden from sight rust.
