I have recently bought a 1980 GSA [Elsie] from Chris Salter and she is now with Rob Moss at Chevronics for a total restoration.

A C-matic, i have decided to keep her as such.

She is a very early GSA with the GS dash and interior.

Hi Andy,

Look forward to seeing more of this. Certainly a different sort of beast to the BX.

Good luck!

Good luck with the restoration.
I remember driving this car in the late 90's when it was on the road.
Glad you're staying with the C-Matic.

I will certainly keep you all posted with regard to the restoratio.
She has been delivered to Chevronics and been inspected. She will with not too much difficulty be soerted. Has also been road tested, she does work, the hydraulics have been fixed and i will keep the c-Matic gearbox.

Elsie has now been fully welded up and all panels have been replaced. Yesterday she was sent off for a paint job, She will be resprayed jaune primivere, a primrose yellow, i am not at all happy with the original 'off' white.
