^^ That's better Mike, at least you don't have to look at my ugly mug now
Does Tapatalk have any sort of cache that might be clearable?

There should be a cache that can be cleared, but depending on Android / IOS there may be a local device cache too that might need clearing. I just use my browser on my iPhone - I can still do everything I need to whilst out.

I was hoping that might be the case Marc...GiveMeABreak wrote:There should be a cache that can be cleared, but depending on Android / IOS there may be a local device cache too that might need clearing.
Same here... I find the forum's dynamic resizing to different screen sizes work very well indeed. The forum remains very functional on my Windows Phone Web Browser but it seems there Tapatalk folk won't be persuaded to try the forum in a mobile web browserGiveMeABreak wrote:I just use my browser on my iPhone - I can still do everything I need to whilst out.
You know my opinion of Tapatalk so I won't repeat it here but I have tried and tried to use it...

Yes, really pleased with the mobile dynamic layout of the Forum Jim - If I want more typing room or to see more text, I tilt to landscape mode and it also then provides more of the menu options; back into portrait and you get a compressed menu, so not so crowded - works a treat on all the mobile browsers I've used - Opera, Firefox, Chrome and of Course native Safari.

Yay ... you've almost gone Jim. Dont know what you did but to be replaced by FOUR lines of 'bah humbug' is much more apt. Cant see any local cache settings to clear. Its liveable with now. Cheers!

Assuming that it is an android device then there should be a "settings->application manager" menu (the actual path depends on the manufacturer and android version), which lists all the installed apps. You should find tapatalk there and there should be options to delete cache or application data. If that fails, try uninstalling tapatalk (taking the option to delete data), then reinstall.

"Bah humbug! A retreat for those lacking in Xmas spirit"
Almost an FCF Christmas Tradition in itself
Seeing as its advent now, how about an indulgance in seasonal selfishness.
You have a virtual £1,000 free what are you going to wrap up for yourself?
The ultimate train set to play with? Here's a geeky unboxing for your delight!
Regards Neil

No Bah Humbug from me this year... We in the cycling club are already in the spirit... We did a Christmas Socks themed ride today
And I ate Christmas cake at the cafe stop...
It was bloody delicious

One of the best things about Christmas is the Cake of that name.
...knew I'd find something marginally relevant to post eventually, having been very quiet here awhile, some of which between Internet connections (a surprisingly pleasant experience)

Re: Bah humbug! A retreat for those lacking in Xmas spirit
My Mum make a truly AWESOME Christmas Cake. It is one of the things I REALLY look forward to.
I just found I have one of those Heston Hidden Orange Christmas Puddings from last year. It has a sell by date of Jan 2019. I hope it has matured well.
