You need to read the guide first as the answers to your questions are there:

It's probably already too late for you now to make a backup of your user configuration files as stated in Part A of the guide as you no longer have access to the display. This is likely due to the unit's inability to boot up, hence why it is trying to load files from the CD expecting a firmware CD.

At this stage I suspect you have nothing to loose apart from the configuration data which may mean you lose parking assistance visuals and some functionality like being able to change language and options. So read the guide and make a decision as to whether you want to replace the MicroSD card inside the unit. If so, all the info is in the guide.

And there is no way to get them back later on? Okay I will try to do it by reading the guide. So I need to skip part A then?

Well if you can't get any display on the screen, you won't be able to answer the questions or select the options when running the programme. It's always best to make a copy of your settings using part A BEFORE you start getting issues when the MicroSD card starts to fail - as in when the system is working properly.

You can always try running Mirascripts Part A to see if you can get any info on screen, but I suspect the unit is no longer booting up and so therefore may not be providing any display output. At this stage you really have nothing to lose by following the guide and exclude the Mirascripts Parts A & B sections as it won't boot now.

Just new to the forum. I have just had the same issue with my C5 2015. Please advise if I can get a copy of the firmware and the procedure for downloading it?

Assuming you have an RT6, then your unit is likely on the way out - and the same applies, if you have a black screen, you won't be able to respond to the on-screen questions and prompts.
