I have the book written by Richard Noble and Andy Green. The development of Thrust SSC was done on a shoestring budget, and very nearly failed. One of the weird facts is that, when she was travelling very fast on the Black Rock Desert, her wheels were turning approximately 20% slower than they should have been! There is a spectacular aerial photograph showing Thrust SSC going supersonic, with the shockwave extending out for yards on each side.

Having read the first post on this thread, I assure you this video of a sweary Latin lady is related to a thread on the FCF from today..

*This is her reaction to the news James is in possession of a fast off-road scooter. She rarely swears. However I'm 50 going on 18, so it needed to be said otherwise I'll never get out of this ankle boot..

Seriously? It warns about the language in my post!

Whoever complained is a *seriously* sad person.

While it was innocuous enough for the majority it did collide with the forum rules and ethos.
What we accept in real life is sometimes not appropriate for this forum but would be overlooked in many others.
You are not alone in having had posts flagged, if that is any comfort.

If you like one liners then this is for you. One of my favourite comedians with his repertoire on Mock the Week:

I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Gibbo started a thread with these two videos so I thought they warrant a link from here:

Filmed last December here are a couple of extracts from a trader's auction hunting. The first is the description of a Renault Zoe and the second the car going through. maybe of interest to certain members! :)

You need to scroll down on the page to find the video about the car I was loaned for free while my Legacy was having an airbag replaced under warranty :-D
