checking Xantia Sphere pressures

I just purchased new front spheres for my 1997 Xantia V6 Activa : I checked the pressures they came with : 700 PSI / 48 BAR . What are the correct pressures for my Xantia?
I have found a page in french that shows 40/45 BAR but what does that really mean? and then there are 2 numbers beside that :+5 and below that -20 and below that 0.7 in red. I have no idea what the 0.7 in red means.
It seems that 45 + 5 = 50 BARS = 725 PSI.
Furthermore, it seems that 40-20 =20 BAR ?? But that pressure seems too low : so I don't really understand all these numbers.


My last question is that this Citroen diagram shows "montage d"origine" and then " MONTAGE MULTICOUCHES" beside that : I have never seen for sale the multilayered (Multicouches) spheres available anywhere for the Xantia. Are the "MULTICOUCHES" SPHERES available anywhere .

And IF anyone has used the "MULTICOUCHES" SPHERES, what differences in ride and longevity was experienced?

The Series 1 V6 hydractive should have (450/45/0.7) front corner spheres: 450 CC, 45 bar, 0.7 mm bypass hole. I believe that the Activa spheres had the same specification.

Multicouche spheres (if you can find them) have much longer life. I have used them up to 20 years, the ones currently on my XM are about 15 years old and still giving a good ride. When they do go, they go suddenly with a split diaphragm.

Citroen were still supplying multicouche spheres about 5 years ago, but I don't think that is currently true.
