Re: Lexia in east sussex
Chris, there is a list of Lexia owning members and a map here.
The map link is at the bottom.
PM them to arrange a session but be aware that some members don't log in regularly, you may have to try several.

It might be worth noting that Citronut had one ('lovingly' know as his DIS-Lexia!). I wonder if you still have it?

Re: Lexia in east sussex
Last Friday we plugged Claire's Synergie into my Lexia/Diagbox after a bit of faffing around to find the RPO number (I got it from Service Citroen) we looked at all the faults. However I have some questions;
It wouldn't show Diabox as an option, is that because of the age of the vehicle? (I find it easier to use than Lexia)
It showed the fault descriptions, but not the codes, why is that? Clicking on the fault just brought up the parameters they occured under and were all the same.
The Synergie FB group told Claire it was likely the engine speed sensor that was causing the problem (sounds likely to me as well) but she couldn't get an answer from anyone as to where it is located and if it's easy to get at either from the engine bay or laying on the ground as if so I'd have a go for her. I eventually found the sensor on Service.Citroen, but it doesn't really show the location. xud9te engine.
Some pics of Lexia to follow.....

Re: Lexia in east sussex
Yes it will only run Lexia, due to the age of the vehicle.
What happens is there are a huge list of faults (often repeated) recorded on every occurrence on a historic basis.
I would make a note of each of the individual faults first, then try and clear these (after reading), then run the Global diagnostic to see what remains.

Thanks for the reply
I have already done what you suggest as I took a photo of the faults, then tried to clear each fault, but afterwards it said some faults not cleared.
Why did it not give me fault codes?
Is the speed sensor easy to change/where is it located?

Re: Lexia in east sussex
If the faults are permanent they won't go until they are rectified. Generally only intermittent or temporary faults can be cleared until they are re-triggered. Permanent ones can't be cleared if they are still there.
As for the speed sensor - If you don't have the VIN, I would need to know what engine this is first - this is the parts diagram for a 2.0 HDi 110 Engine - No. 6 on the diagram. But it will ofcourse be completely different for the 1.9D engine.

Re: Lexia in east sussex
Engine speed sensor on a 1.9TD is on the engine 'rear' flange, on the back side - it picks up the signal from the flywheel. It's brown IIRC and secured by a single 8 or 10mm hex bolt. Not that far up, above the inboard end of the OS driveshaft. You'd need it on ramps to get to it.
