First thing to try is disconnecting the battery and resetting the system, whch can solve all sorts of peculiar behaviour! A search here will bring up the correct procedure.

The auto windows need to be reset.
Hold the button in the up position and let the window close but keep the button held for a further ten seconds. This resets the anti pinch system and the windows should then open and close properly.

You will also need to reset the auto lights and washers, auto volume on the radio and the automatic locking if you have it.

When I did the full battery reset procedure I didn't have to reset any of those afterwards. Admittedly I haven't got auto locking set anyway but the others were still active.

Funny that I should read this topic this morning. Yesterday when I went to the car, the remote wouldn't open the doors. I used the key in the lock which started the alarm. That stopped when I started the engine. I disconnected the battery and that got the remote working again.

I BELEVE its under the passenger seat! I agree its DEFENATLY NOT under the bonnet...

I followed the battery leads, and they disapeared into the bulk head..

Hi all

Thanks guys ive found it :)

The prob with the central locking is the keyfob the buttons are missing and i can operate the micro switch on the big locking button but not on the small opening button (it worked with a pen) so i need a new key fob case with buttons
