Sluggish RDS

Post by RichardW »

The RDS on the radio (RD4) in my 3008 is not keen on re-tuning to another station. The RDS is working as it picks up the station and the RDS text comes through, and alternative frequencies is turned on, but it almost never changes frequency. Is this a 'feature' - never a problem in the similar units in the 307 or C4 Picasso so I think not? Aerial must be OK, as it picks up AM stations well!

Do you know if the radio has (ever) had its firmware updated? This sounds like just the sort of thing that could be cured by an update. I don't know for sure if there's an update, I'm just fishing!
