I'm sending you a PM with instructions and a complete installation guide, including VM installation notes.

That’s really kind of you. Would you recommend reinstalling XP in my VM or just removing the current program?

Just clean up the diagnostic software, it’s likely to be the installation process I suspect.

Re: Lexia making me want to tear my hair out.
So today I finally managed to get a light on the top right of Diagbox to turn green- usually this has been amber. I have decided that the light on the Actia box is duff!
Got the usual error initialising the communications, closed Lexia and unplugged and replugged the USB, ran again and these are the results
I tried an OBD code reader on the port yesterday. Car happily communicated with it.

So your software is installed ok by the looks of it but your interface is knackered. The drivers are installed as we can see, so it would seem your interface is not working.

That last screenshot can be caused if your hardware isn't new enough or full chip enough. Probably also if your firmware isn't new enough.

Re: Lexia making me want to tear my hair out.
The firmware will auto update, so that won't be an issue - and the C2 is a 2006 model so Diagbox 7.02 will work fine - I have 7.6* working on the 07 C3 perfectly.
As the green light is definitely not working, then I have to conclude that your interface is duff unfortunately. You have exhausted everything else and have now got a clean installation and the software is loading etc., but the hardware interface is not communicating with the software. So
Short of opening up the Actia Clone and checking all the pins are indeed soldered on correctly and are not loose, I'd have to conclude it is kaput. There can be a lot of weight on the cable pulling on the connection to the VCI and it won't be the first time that a wire is loose or has come away from the PCB.
I've just dug out mine and you can see the green light is on as soon as it is connected to the laptop, and even without Diagbox running.
