Peugeot 406 central locking control unit

Does anybody know where the central locking control unit, can be found in the 406? I dont have a haynes manual, but have been told its somewhere under the front dash. Any help or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

depends on what year your car is,up to face lift d8 model behind glovebox .later model new shape d9 incorporated into the bsi fitted uder dash far right hand side
EP6T petrol turbo nice engine in the 207 GT and the new mini....

It is the D8 model. Whats the BSI stand for?

built in systems interface,your deadlock ecu is under /behind glove box,it will have to 13 pin connectors one is white the other is black me thinks 8)
EP6T petrol turbo nice engine in the 207 GT and the new mini....
