I've just seen mytyres sell wheel and steel rim packages on Ebay. So, as I cannot find my original 14" wheels, I am erring on the side of buying a wheel and tyre package for just over £300 with the all-season tyres I want.

I've found a really useful website:-

https://www.wheel-size.com/size/citroen/xantia/1995/

It lists out all possibilities.

One problem is the offers that mytyres have on Ebay seem tremendously good value as the rims would work out about £38 a piece. I've tried to call them but they obviously outsource their call centre as so many do and unfortunately the computer says NO!

Citroen ZX 5.5J 14 have a ET24 offset. 18mm wider track doesn't seem outrageous overkill. Just wish their search facility was better so I could simply type in rim sizes from the wheel-size website.

I did think about just getting some of my 15" sets sandblasted and powdercoated earlier but they do appear to be in pretty poor condition.

Well I spoke with the powdercoaters yesterday.

The price of that has gone up considerably since the early 1990's. They want £50 a wheel.

Unfortunately, mytyres do not have any steel rims suited to the Citroen but they do have some Peugeot ones with a greater offset of 24mm.

According to Oponeo website, an allowance of 2% increase in track is acceptable. However, I cannot find anywhere which tells the track width of the axles. If I was to assume it was 1600mm. then I would be allowed 32mm extra width, 16mm per side so 24mm. would be acceptable if the original offset was 15mm. as it is only an increase of 9mm. per side.

Any further advice as to which way to go? Although 15" are already on. I would like to return it to original spec.
