I'll need your VIN to confirm equipment and options.

But if there is no power on any of the fan settings then it is likely to be the Blower Control Module. See my post here:

That's missing half the info - should be 17 alpha numeric.

Ok, that's better!

So same as per the link in my previous post, part number 6441S7: Item 10 below: £141.84 UK Sterling from Citroen - there are cheaper ones out there - but beware of any too cheap!

Instructions for removing in the link in my previous post.

In my post before your VIN I provided a link:

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=55875&hilit=blower+control#p499891

it's all there... Diagram is for a left hand drive so will be as you see it - the same side - driver for left hand vehicles and passenger side for right hand drive vehicles. :-D

Make sure you follow the battery disconnection procedure before doing any work on the electronics and again when reconnecting the battery:
  • Open bonnet and Driver side window.
  • Ensure all doors are closed and remove key from the ignition
  • Wait for 5 minutes, then disconnect the vehicle battery negative and wait at least 5 minutes. Don't open any doors or press any buttons.

Now carry out the replacement part work when finished:
  • Close all doors
  • Reconnect the vehicle battery, wait a further 5 minutes (do not open doors).
  • Switch on the side lights through the driver's window.
  • Switch on the ignition only, don’t start vehicle yet and check system's functionality.
  • With key still in ignition hold lock button on key down for 5 seconds.
  • Remove key through window, then operate Central locking several times.
  • Now open door and start the engine and complete the system's check.

Thanks again!
Can you also help me to find the OEM number for the steering rack on the same car?

Oh no, another Steering rack gone! I'm on my third one as are many others here with X7s

Replacement part is: 1610575080

Get a re-manufactured one that has been properly refurbished and coated - some of us here (including myself) have put a rubber boot (similar tot he driveshaft boot) over the pinion - as this is very prone to rusting and then destroys all the seals. Having a rubber boot may help prevent water getting onto the shaft.

Have a look at my other thread:

Yeah, is that a difficult operation to remove the old one? Im wondering if I can do it by myself, or if I should give away the job to someone else.
Take out the old one and put in a used one.
