Re: Diesel injector test
Any chance you can post the test results, Rich? I'm assuming they were tested off the car in a suitable test rig, seeing as they're Bosch specialists.
Re: Diesel injector test
I will try and do it on Monday, as we are away all weekend taking daughter back to uni. It’s on A4 sheet so don’t know if I can get it small enough to post.
Cheers Rich

No problem, Rich.
Even the university could be photographed and posted!
Just scan or photograph the page, and post that.

Re: Diesel injector test
Yeah and guess whst? She just passed her driving test yesterday, so no prizes for guessing what's next on the agenda . Coming back to report, I spoke to one of the technicians aylt the company when I collected the van, and asked him what was meant by failure, he said just worm out basically. My mate Brian said the compensation was far too higj and they were over fuelling, hence the.white smoke, which is unburnt fuel.

Re: Diesel injector test
Did he hazard a guess as to why or how they were worn out? Remind me how many miles it's done?

Re: Diesel injector test
Thanks Rich. The tests do show failures on measuring points LL and VE, both of which equate to your original complaint of white smoke.
Leak test and test points VL, EM & TL all passed.
So your facing the choice of having yours remanufactured or replaced, which the garage has already advised it better (cheaper?) to replace them.
As others have said, it's unusual that all four are faulty at 90K miles. As you may know, the fuel system operates at extreme pressures and tolerances so fuel cleanliness is paramount.
