BX Digi Dash

Post by spider »

I was not sure to post this here or in Chat really.

Asking current and previous BX owners, was the digital dash on these reliable generally ?

The reason for asking is other marques with 'digi displays' seemed to vary and in my mind its 50/50 if they were OK or not on a PSA vehicle...

The BL Maestro/Montego ones were not very good but the Vauxhall ones were reasonable.

The digi dash wasn't really a digi dash on the BX. It just looked like one. Most of it was mechanical like the GS and CX...

My good lord! I worked in a main dealer for 2 years at the end of the 80s and I have absolutely no idea that they existed!

Yes - the 'BX digit' - had one on loan while my 2CV was in dock (main dealer messed up a service), 1985 or 86. The above video does not do it justice, when new it was spectacular =P~

I don't know how many were sold but if my memory is correct it was a GT or GTI :?:
