Made good use of nice weather today (sunny and 13°C, no wind ... quite unusual for this time of year) ... decided to fit the exhaust chrome pipes, to see how they look, and whether or not they'll fall off during a drive ... :D ...

So far so good with the 19" wheels, I can honestly say that they're much more comfortable to drive than the previous 17" ... steel-sprung car ... on another note, I've updated the first post in this topic, to help people find what they're looking for ... this is just a partial list of my mods of course ... :D

The wheel center caps arrived today ... the wrong ones, of course (China, how we love you ... :D ) ... but, that's one of those good thing/bad thing variations ... at least I got the grey ones (actually wanted the chrome ones - the back plate), but these will do quite well actually ... and for the price, can't argue with it ...

I'm still debugging the rear license plates lights ... they'll light up (without making changes on the light's stalk) 1 out of 5 times (when needed) ...

Wheels look mighty fine mate, grey and chrome fits them well I think.

Too bad I can't find the time to wash them thoroughly, they're kind of greasy, a quick wash and even the rim spray didn't help one bit ... it will require some more aggressive solution, but I don't want to damage the alloy coating ...

Do they have 'wonder wheels' in your neck of the woods? Great stuff for brake dust.

Don't think so ... what would usually be available here is a full range of 3M, Sonax, Nigrin and similar "brands" products ... I found the wonder wheels on eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wonder-Wheels ... Sw8-tWaXwa) ... of course, with the postage, the price isn't right anymore ... I found a new Nigrin rim cleaner spray solution at home, will give that one a go tomorrow if it won't be too cold ...

I'll order a set of H21s for the reversing lights ... LED of course ... something to really burn through the night ... or the rear lamp's plastic ... :D ... on another note, I've just returned from the car, sprayed 1/3 of the Nigrin Alloy cleaner on all 4 wheels ... will see how it copes with the brake dust and grease/oil whatever it is that won't let go of the wheel ... if it won't work, I'll probably order either Wonder Wheels, and have Marc refund me the full amount if it won't work, or some other high-grade wheel cleaner kit ... :D

Cheeky blighter! Did you see the pics of the H21 LEDs I fitted? Can't say you need your shades on to look at them, but the light is whiter and crisper than the originals, which is what I was after really.

No improvements on the alloys .. I guess without physical contact (sponge at least) the dust won't come off and the greasy spots as well ... I'll try getting this over here (Sonax Full effect), and see how it goes:

If not, off to the online shopping ... :D
