Ok, so that's the TPMS ECU in your case, and the parking sensors ECU is in the spare wheel well ... now, if only you can tell me how many pins does the TPMS ECU have, that would be something

Love the alloys - but before you get toooo exited :) have you got the centre embellishment / caps yet? I think you have to buy those separately!

Not yet, I'm looking to buy them of course, just can't settle on the best look ... black, grey or chrome (rounded chevrons of course) ... not genuine though, since they're too expensive for what they need to do on the wheel, but a decent replacement from chinaland

Those are the prices that I'm already looking ... the products in question in my case are (from online available images, the "default" cap for my new alloys is the grey type, 2nd image below):

They should, all of them have a metal circle "spring" in the back inside the side clips ... and for that price, at least I can buy 2-3 sets for the price of one if it really comes down to that ... but, since the center of the wheel should really have low stress/force, I doubt it takes something extra to keep a small plastic plate in place ... the quality of it (snow, washing, etc.) is another matter ...

I've receive two toys today, first the tow-bar ECU (still packed as I'm typing this), and the other the TPMS ECU ... now, the latter is unpacked, and I was surprised how small it actually is (never found the dimensions for it), making my life easier in planning where to fix it in the car, if I don't figure out the default location (if the wires are connected, I don't care where it is, as long as it isn't visible, the antenna can be connected to it and it is fixed in place). The dimensions are roughly 13 x 3 x 6,5 cm, not taking into account the foam padding at the bottom of the unit ... let's say the unit works (won't know until the end) .. it is actually pulled from a C6 (yes, the C6 and the C5 X7 have the same TPMS ECU in case you're wondering) ... now, the tricky bit is to locate the correct 18-pin connector that goes into it ... the closest match I found is the BMW amp 18-pin connector ... I'll try to find a scrapyard near me, so I can check the connector before actually buying it (or ordering it online) ...

The second package is unpacked, the tow-bar ECU and wiring ... everything seems present (all required wires, cables and connectors), once again, I won't know if it actually works unless I plug it in ... glanced at the installation manual that's been provided (genuine Citroen), and still no usable explanation about the true location of the TPMS ECU and parking sensors ECU, since the manual shows that in the left boot there should be a TPMS ECU installed previously (under which to the boot side the tow-bar ECU is placed) ... leaving the only possible option that in some cars the parking sensors ECU is located in the boot (sticky's I believe, GiveMeABreak's as well) ... this will be interesting if I'll have to juggle the ECUs around the boot of the car, and the existing wiring isn't long enough ... :D

I could use the close-up photos of the plug (unhooked, from the side and from below), just to see if it matches the one I've found as a suitable one
