I did it once, Munich to to Slovenia, popped to Lake Bled, then a stunning 2 weeks in a very cheap Istrian Farmhouse, then back home through Italy and the Dolomites..
I really recommend the whole experience ! :)

I've decided to make thing even more complicated, and have managed to obtain the TPMS computer for a fraction of the new price ... now I'll just need the antenna/receiver part and to wire everything to the car ... and wait for a good deal with the TPMS sensors (they can be had for 90 GBP for a whole kit) ... and this isn't the thing I was talking about in one of the previous posts ... :D ... this is one other project ...

Do Citroen know you have re-launched the building of new C5's ?

I think they've figured out that some rare sought parts are finally being pulled from their shelves ... :D

So, regarding the Android testing (http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/v ... 70#p471532) ... I've managed to obtain a Samsung Galaxy S Plus phone, in great condition ... that should have RCA tv-out from it's 3.5 AUX connector ... first I need to find the proper wiring ... the good news is, that both the micro usb and the aux are on the same side (top) of the phone, making my life easier, and I can organize the wires more easily in the car (if it gets to that)

Of course, it can't be simple ... I'm missing a 3.5 mm 3RCA cable to test the video signal, I have 2.5's at home ... more shopping for me ... :D

EDIT: So far, so good ... I've set up a custom launcher app, and managed to fix the screen to horizontal ... the Torque app is running ... and this all on the stock Android 2.3.3

TARGETS:
- enable the auto-start when connected to 5V (it works currently if the phone is connected to the PC; a regular charger won't trigger this)
- auto shut down when unplugged (there is an app for this)
- get the image to the screen (need to obtain a cable, supposedly Nokia's CA-75U works like a charm);

- enable OTG support (for the external touch screen digitzer)
- disable lock screen and some other UI modifications (best approach would be a custom ROM - Cyanogen i.e., but I do't know whether or not the tv-out feature will remain after the custom upgrade)

Anyone here has a C5 X7 Tourer Exclusive (or at least one that is equipped with the TPMS system)? I'd like to confirm my understanding of the main module location, is it under the left boot cover/box (the parking sensors module is also located there) ? The module in question looks like this:

I'm not sure that's it ... maybe the parking sensor's computer (Bosch sensors, Bosch ECU ... makes sense)?

Then what do I have on the left side then under the trim box? Will need to go over the schematics once again ... the PSA documentation only shows the location of the TPMS module (not the antenna, that's under the car) for the saloon, not the tourer ...
