Yes, I was halfway through the interior swap  ! No power to the seats at that point so had to leave the old driver's seat in temporarily. Finished the job later that day I think?

My Activa - From Portugal :)

Post by yoseff »

Hi.
I am a new member, but i already "devorated" the material you have here of the activas.
I had before a 2.1td '97 Xantia break Vsx, and now i've bought this activa.
I think it is full extras ecxept cruise control...
Will start using it next week, as now he needs some repairs.
Here is a picture from my '98 2.1td activa:

Later on i will post some more.

Hi Yoseff.

Welcome to the forum.

Are there many Activa's in Portugal?

You have found a 2.1TD, are the 2.0CT, and 3.0V6 sold there?

Ahh, a 2.1TD Activa, now there is one very desirable car and in a very desirable colour too!

Welcome to the forum and all of us UK Activa addicts Yoseff :D

Sadly, we only ever had the 2.0 TCT here

There are some Activas in Portugal, and i am happy that many of them are with people who really take care of them...

Usually, those who are for sale require a lot of repair in the suspention (mine included)

I was especially looking for a diesel activa, and between the 2.1td and the Hdi i prefeered the first one.
We have here both the 2.0tct and the V6, but they are thirsty and gasoline here is too expensive.

I want the activa to ride - not to have it keeped in a garage, so diesel was my obvious chioce ;)

I did learned a lot from foruns, and i am member of several of them. Forumcitroen.com (Portuguese) Planete-citroen.com (French), Clubxantia.com (Spanish), LHManiacos.pt (Portuguese) and Frenchcarforum.co.uk are my favourites :)

Next week i will have the Activa back in the road as now it needs some repairs ;)

Later i will post more photos

Its my favourite engine for long journeys and i already had it in a break hidractive vsx.
For the colour, i'd prefeer the dark blue, but i really like also that green in the Activa

It is not a problem at all Yoseff :D Your English is very good. Much better than my Portuguese!

Both by V6 Xantias are dark blue. They are almost twins. I like the dark blue but not quite as much as I like my Dante's Red Activa. That is my favourite colour...

WOW!

Could you send that over hear please? Id really like that car, a 2.1 Activa 8-)

Its a real shame we only got the TCT Activa over hear, very disappointing, when they made 2.1 and HDi versions, not to mention the V6.

Yes why did Citroen decide to do that, didn't they think we here in the U.K. could handle it!

Yes, we do have bends here Citroen, and certainly like interesting, and different cars, we have many motoring enthusiasts who would have welcomed, and bought the other models in the Activa range, and more sales = more profit!
