Nothing is actually booked yet
Snowdon Railway https://snowdon.vticket.co.uk/ only goes to the summit station after 15th May and then tickets are hard to get without early booking online.

Is that why you've amended/cancelled LLanberis Mick as on your dates it's only a partial journey? I was going to meet my Mrs at the top last year but it was £50 on the steam train

Just had a look at the plan Mick can you tell me the Coleford times, I might join you for dinner, also I have to warn you Monmouth is at the moment a mess of road works right down the main street so one way traffic only.

And after the engine museum there's the gearbox museum and back axle museum to go! :rofl2:

Mick

I'll have to call off the possibility of a meet-up on the 21st. The NARSA radio rally is on in Blackpool and my radio club is manning (personning?) one of the entrances.

There's a possibility of the previous day though. It's not too far for a drive. But where? And for how long?

It's all been happening while I've been in the garage!! :-D

Gibbo: Thursday 18th April we intend to arrive in Coleford at The Angel Hotel around six to have dinner there at 7. If you could join us whenever it would be great, obviously the same applies to Forrester!! :-D

PaulR: A pity about Sunday 21st as we are hoping MattB can join us then too. However on Saturday we are driving up through Bangor for lunch then on to Colwyn Bay for dinner at a venue to be decided on the night as we are staying in a B&B that night. Happy to drive from there to meet you somewhere but obviously we don't really want to drive too much further after the day in the saddle!! :-D

Still open to anyone else who is along the route and fancies a quick coffee or beer depending on where and when!! :-D

Is PaulXM still on for Bangor and is it just for a 'Hello' or for lunch?
