I’ve recently sent my van in for front brakes and discs, cambelt and water pump change and leaky thermostat and then they told me the seals needed to be done on the injectors.( all in £1300) So I got the work done and got the van back (had to set the clock) I then found an oil leak which never existed before!

I asked them to have a look...

Hi, I have topped up my additive tank 30/40k kms ago and reset it on diagbox. Now diagbox tells me there is 95 procent in it but get a pressure fault because it’s empty! How is this possible are the settings not good or is there a internal leak somewhere? There are 2 bolts on top of the tank does anyone know how to remove this?

I managed to get the engine out of the van....this engine had less that 30k on it...1.9td. Its in a Ducato motorhome, I can now see the full extent of the damage.
The hole next to the starter motor is where the oil filter housing used to be.
It was lent to someone to help them out and this is how it came back!...there is a hole in each side...

Does anyone have the torque settings for the main bearing bolts and the big end bolts for the 1.9TD (XUD9)
I have two haynes manuals (405 and Xantia) but the settings are for 1.6...1.8...and 2.0l engines...there doesn't seem to be a mention of 1.9td settings.

what's the trick to remove the radiator off a 2.7 HDI (so get some free hand / tool space to replace the plastic water flange under the egr )

The cooling fan housing encases the radiator and the air conditioning condensor but I can't see any obvious way to remove the fan housing.

Afternoon

After cleaning my EGR valve due to a fault in lexia (cleaning did not solve) I put the fuel lines back together. The car wouldn't start.
I disconnected this line and the vehicle starts and runs fine.

First, what would cause this?
And second, can I run the vehicle long term without it?

my 207 1.6 HDi has a loose Air Doser, its the big type with 4 pipes off it, I cant see an obvious way of how it fixes on, its rattling and therefore quite annoying

will it become easy to see how it mounts if I just remove the pipes and lift it off the car?
