Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

Hi Lads I ran a diagnostic on the car because she smells fuelly, yes it's the C5 that has all the problems but I bought it thinking it had an injector problem. Can anyone tell me what the us stands for. To me none of the injectors look right numbers wise but I am hopeful if being corrected. No fault codes apart from the glow plug fault but we know...

on my 2010 C4GP 1.6hdi (auto) I have a P0299 code (turbo pressure lower than reference flow) - It is actually reading turbo pressure but there is no vacuum to the turbo 'lever' (turbo end of pipe 7 in picture below). Hi,
I have recently had the injectors replaced on the above vehicle, however, since replacement, 2 clamps have since snapped.
I have now ordered a complete set of 4 from my local Citroen agent plus matching bolts.
Has anyone else suffered this issue, is it an easy job for a relative novice to replace these at home.

I've come across a company offering a re- programming of the ECU which does not disable the Adblue system, but stops the car being affected by error messages, count down, going in to limp mode etc... Sounds a bit sketchy, i'm guessing all they are doing is mapping the ECU to ignore & block all fault codes relating to the SCR system, the system may still work but if it did stop working you would have no idea that it has stopped working as if the system is not working it wont display any errors. I suppose you would realise when you aint had to...

I get the impression it doesn't have such a rock solid reputation as the 2 litre versions, and may be more vulnerable if not being fastidiously looked after.

What are the potential problems, and what degree of scepticism is needed if looking at one which may not have full service history? Are...

Hi everyone,

Recently bought myself a 2019 Relay 2.0 HDI 130 to convert myself to a camper.
It has 182k miles and was fleet owned but pretty straight/clean with good service record.
I've done about 500 miles in it since I picked it up and about 250 miles since owning P0087 and P0093 codes for fuel pressure low/leak codes have come on.

I’m about to bite the bullet and make up copper brake pipes for my 2001 berlingo. But need some info please
Copper or copper n nickel ? And what size nuts ? M10 x 1 ?
Lots for sale on eBay, but I don’t want to crawl under the van and find I’ve bought the wrong stuff.

Well, more failure to report !
I paid a bit more for the pipe and tried out the ‘on-car’ flaring tool. The pipe looks very brassy coloured, but certainly stronger than plain copper. Followed instructions on YouTube for flaring tool which worked well on first trial. But a second flare failed miserably and the thread on the tool just stripped out....

My mechanic is struggling to access information about the connections between the BSI and ECU.
My van is completely dead and he thinks that the BSI is Unable to communicate with the ECU, possibly due to a wiring fault.

Hi I have a 2016 PureTech 1.0 edition when I’m at work and go home I start it and get the blue coolant light. I normally let it heat up a few minutes then I drive ,it seems to take ages to go out,driving slow it gets to a point were it’s unsafe to drive as the car bogs down and won’t move like your in limp mode then if you gear down the light goes...

Whilst checking Fred over I found LHM leaks again. 1 at the rear, possibly the height corrector (changed it for a secondhand one last year), and 1 from from the pipe that goes from LHM tank to pump (couple of years old and made of horrible metal weaved-covered pipe). Shouldn't be too much trouble, except I lent on the coolant 3 way pipe/ pressure...

Hello,

Hope someone can help, the rear doors on citroen dispatch 15 plate won't open, all the other doors open and lock but the rear door latch is stuck.
Won't open with central locking or manually with key ? Tried l to move latch from inside with a screwdriver but won't budge.
Is there a way to release from the inside?

Am I right in thinking this trim comes away from the main bumper? If so does it come away without removing the entire rear bumper first? Also does this section from a C4 Picasso also fit or is the Grand Picasso unique? Thanks

If you jack it up you can remove the underlay which may then allow you to reach up the back of the radiator and spring the bonnet catch. But you should be able to manually unlock the doors with the key to get access?

The power gremlins have arrived for Xmas. Many threads on this subject so to say it’s not uncommon is an understatement. In a nutshell the power and nippiness have been noticably reduced to the point of frustration when considering overtaking. I have checked the usual suspects with the help of past threads,

Hi!

I have a problem with my Grand C4 picasso 2012 1.6 ehdi.

First I had P1A9C code and I replaced the start stop capacitor. But the problem presists.

I received new error code. P1AA0 and I dont understand what is the problem?

P1A9C is not present, now I have P1AA0 code.

I wonder if anyone can give me links to high def. photos of the 'dark side' of this engine- that is the are around the EGR cooler, injector common rail and the fuel pump.
I am in the process of a rebuild, and not having the where with all to lift the engine out, the job is being done in situ.

Maybe they haven't reset the Adblue counter correctly - but doing forced regenerations on the DPF is totally useless - the DPF system has zero to do with the SCR system for a start and nothing to do with the countdown message.

Apart from anything else, undertaking repeated forced regeneration is no good for the engine or components as the vehicle...

Hi I have a B9 2011 1.6 Diesel multispace and over the past few weeks on occasion when i start it, it starts up and idles but it will not rev. Also noted when this happens is the rear dash illuminations (to light the clocks, speedo etc.) does not work when i have this issue. I have scanned the vehicle with a diagnostic tool but i have no issues....

Citroen c3 picasso.

Why did i do it. Well needed abit more room but not massive ammounts so this was my choice
2012 1.6hdi. New clutch last Jan 2022. Plenty of service history and under 90,000 miles .

Bad points.
Back fog light cracked car park marks
Warning on dash after 90 mile drive
Engine oil pressure high stop engine
This then came on...

So in the game of leakage whack-a-mole, I noticed another little oil dribble under a different spot of my 2011 C5 X7 today.

It appears to be around the spring? going into the right rear caliper, the left one shows no sign of leaking. If anyone has an insight into where this might be coming from would be much appreciated.

What's is the socket size and torque for the front hub nut? Need to get it out but it seems huge for the size of the car. Measured it seems 35 or 36mm but want to be sure

35mm, PSA have been using it for years. A 36mm six sided usually works. Yes, torque is 240 lb ft - it's not as tight as you think, that's only my 200 lb standing on 14 of breaker bar.

How many litres are there in the hydraulic tank of the C5 X7. I consulted Wikileaks 😂but they couldn’t tell me. I couldn’t find it in my manual but that didn’t surprise me.

Hello guys, here again, I have a problem with my citroen c5. It won't raise to the normal drive height. It happen on the way to work, I got the message on board ,,Suspension fault max 90km/h ,, I know what this message means, that the fuse is bad and have no power to the pump.

I check the maxi fuse and everything is ok. I disconect the battery...

It won't need configuring if you have an exact matching BHI from an identical vehicle with the same engine and body shape, but it's these 2 areas that specifically need configuring - engine code and body shape (Saloon / Tourer)

Or could Sergiu get around this & possibly save time/money simply buying the cheapest (working) local BHI & using the...

Hello!

I own a 2014 C5 2.2 HDI and my pops got a 2015 2.0 HDI, which has an extra button I wish I had : interior tailgate opening button, situated on the right near the steering wheel.
My car has the blank buttons. I was wondering if there is any schematic for the 2015 model that I could mimic in order to have the same feature.

It's the only one shown for this vehicle with this build date and options for the central locking with 'Simple Locking' (no deadlocking on some European versions).

So although the second diagram shows wire 6228 as 'Rear lock deadlocking + command' there is no deadlocking on this vehicle.

So whether a terminology muck up or not I can't say, but...

I have a Citroen Picasso C3 1.6 VTR 2011. I have been told that I may have a broken engine mounting or that the engine chassis wherevtge mounting is may have cracked and need welding. As there is a sound coming from the drivers side when going over a bump or when I turn the engine of at rimes.

Noticed slight water ingress recently and have just seen that the rubber weather sealing strip is torn between glass and bodywork.
Has anyone ever replaced this? Is it a window out job?

For some strange reason my c2 lx has deadlocked it self I've got the key but the drivers door won't work or the central locking on the key fob won't work I've got the bonnet open I've tried disconnecting the battery and also managed to force open drivers door slightly to get a long stick to press the lock/unlock button on dash and the door handle...

Hi everyone,

Just curious if someone already changed the oil seal from injection pump on RHH engine. The pump code is 9424A050A and is known that oil from the engine is dropping on the antifreeze hose coming from the water pump and in time that hose will break. I know that there is also a service bulletin with this issue.

Am I correct in believing I should only use Citroen or total LDS fluid or are others available?

I brought some car plan power steering and suspension fluid on the advice of a man in a motor factors. It does say it meets the standard of Citroen LDS, but it's a green colour, and the stuff in my car is orange.

The XUD crank is used in the 1868cc DW8 normally aspirated diesel. (501H1). The DW8 is really an XUD with a bit of a makeover!
However the 1997cc HDi uses a different crankshafts, 501E2 without rollers, or 501E3 with.
XUD, DW8 and HDI do all use the same crank bearings.
