I have recently purchased a 2010 Citroen C1.
The central locking works on all but the drivers door.
I have checked the wiring in the door and all looks ok, the actuator has also been replaced.
It has previously been stolen so not sure if there could be some issues from that.

Can anybody give me any idea was to what else I should be checking?

The remote locking fob on my c5 didnt work properly for like 2 years. New battery in the fob didn't fix it..

Swapped the car battery to one with the correct CCA as it was dying, and what do you know.. The fob is also working fine now.

my fathers citroen c2 1.4 kfv 2005 recently had a BSM that shorted out causing it to melt itself and damage some parts of the wires and connectors.
After fitting new cables connectors and BSM the car has a crank no start. I am wondering could it have damaged the ECU or the BSI too? I took apart the BSI and it does not look burned anywhere....

Over the past week I’ve noticed about 3 times that the car hasn’t started first push of the button. The infotainment screen all lights up, but no engine. I do hold the button for a couple of seconds. :?:

The manual refers to the bleed valve pictured below, but when looking at my car, I don't seem to have one.

I have a 2008 Citroen C2, 1.4L and recently changed the battery in the key fob. Now the central locking is not working. I have tried putting the key in the ignition, turning the key whilst hitting the open button on the fob, but no joy.

Hi, I have 'problem case' C3, 2011 1.6 non-turbo prince engine. Originally it had a 5FS engine that died, I purchased it and transplanted a 5FW (yep...and mucked around installing the controlled oil pump...working fine). Once warmed up, it drives/idles superbly, but when cold starting although it fires into life, it gets stuck in a unstable loop...

Interested to know if anyone has had any luck claiming out of warranty on this issue.

It seems to be a fundamental design flaw.

I’ve been told as my car is a 2015 and not maintained by a Citroen service history they aren’t interested.

Frustrated doesn’t cut it, having spent £4k on repairs in 18 months on genuine perishables.

Just want to confirm that I have read the owners manual properly regarding automatic release of the electric parking brake. Am I correct in thinking that in a situation such as a hill start, I don’t need to manually release the parking brake, then quickly switch my foot from foot brake to accelerator, before starting to roll back?
