Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

It's a bit later this year because the Midlands Rally could only book our usual weekend so it clashed.

At least 2 Semi-auto DS's had their hydraulic rubber covers taken on Sunday, but the following list is from Ewan's jubilee DS that was broken into on Sunday night after the Ukelele's

At such events I tend to leave car open with keys in the ignition and if we take the camper, that's not locked either.
When I heard about the things at the ICCCR I did a very quick lock-up of everything.

Admittedly not really related to French Cars but there was a Citroen on the run - a chap in a Citroen Ami Estate who I have seen about at CCC Events:

We always take part and have done for the past 7 years and dad's aim is to do it in a different car each year...we also realised that we've done it in all different makes of car too.

we just looked on the ICCCR web site and it says the building called Levallios is now an INTERNET CAFE,

and the only trade areas now are JAVEL ( indoor stall's ) and outdoor stalls when we were booked into the indoor space/building ( LEVALLIOS )

The all new CCC X Rally is going to be held on the 15th of April. Pretty much all info is above however this is a rally that lots of people have been asking for and it's been put into action - therefore please support it! :D :wink: Although it is mainly for models with an 'X', of course anyone is welcome.

I thought that I would put this up nice and early for you guys as this is our group's first outing of the year. :D

As the title says, we plan to visit Stondon Motor Museum on the 25th of March and this is at Henlow, Bedfordshire, SG16 6JN.

This is an excellent museum with in excess of 400 vehicles on display including some Citroens such as CXs,...

Sunday 18th March

J&A Rigbye and Sons in Eccleston near Chorley is where we will be holding our dealer meet. It will run from 11.00am until 4.00pm and there will be a BBQ and refreshments laid on by John and his team.

Apparently it coincides with a Citroen promotion that starts on 15th so there will be plenty of point of sale material on hand...

At the National it was decided that the scope of the CXM/G rally to be held at Little Horwood between the 2nd and 4th September will be extended to embrace the Xantia fully and properly. This is excellent news :D

It will therefore be henceforth known as the CX, XM and Xantia Rally and this year will also include the G Section :D

The next meet within the East Midlands Group is to visit Barry Annells' establishment in Bourne ( Bourne Citroen - PE10 9JY for GPS users) on the 23rd October .

The plan is to meet at the Waterside Garden Centre (PE6 9NY), on Kings Street, just off the A15 at Baston, at 11.00 am , have a look around, then have lunch in the restaurant there....

CCC National Rally 2011 - July 16 - 17th

Well it's been pretty much confirmed that the National Rally of the CCC will be held on the weekend of the 16-17th of July 2011.
It's NEARLY confirmed that it will be at The Skylark Showground at Manea, Cambridgeshire . Here's their website.

Further to my posts on the CXM + Xantia rally thread, something that has struck me is that FCF members quite enjoy getting together at car shows but AFAIK to date those meetings have been at CCC shows which are rather few in number, there have been a couple of meets at other venues such as Duxford but again few in number with the issue of being...
