Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

When the Clio was due for it's timing belt last year, I gave these guys a try. No way was I entrusting this to a dealership, or an independent that didn't have previous experience and the official timing tools. Ray Williams , he is a Citroen nut but also does other makes.
Especially good with suspension issues xantia/zm etc

Labour charge is £55 per hour but he is accurate and honest with you about your car , he usually diagnozes other problems (in passing) that he might notice whilst doing a repair.

I would suggest to anybody in the south-west to visit these guys. They are a family owned business run by four men not monkeys.
